Ewa Wanat & Andrzej Korzyński – Bossa Nova

Andrzej Korzynski was one of the best film composers of Polish cinema. He soundtracked films from a wide range of directors, from Andrzej Wajda to Andrzej Żuławski.
Now enhanced by a renewed interest in vintage art house film and a subculture of open minded music collectors many Easter European artists, such as Krzysztof Komeda (Poland), Zdeněk Liška (Czechoslovakia; already featured on this blog) and now Andrzej Korzynski, have finally begun to earn their place alongside their Central European peers – this resulted in the inimmitable Finders Keeps label releasing 22 previously unreleased Korzynski tracks.

Track number 16 is Bossa Nova which appeared in Andrzej Wajda’s movie “Hunting Flies”.
